Even on the hottest summer days, it is pleasantly cool to sit at the tables of the tavern Eptá Pigés (Valley of the Seven Springs) near the highway to Rhodes. Tall, old plane trees provide shade, seven adjacent springs fill an old stream, peacocks and geese provide pleasant background noise, while sometimes too noisy school children on a school trip stand out unpleasantly.

100 meters further downstream, the water of the stream suddenly disappears into a short tunnel, which adventurers like to wade through. The stream ends in a small reservoir, in which tourists sometimes swim. The lake can also be reached via the tunnel over the hill.

Epta Piges means “seven springs” in Greek and is a popular sight on Rhodes. This mainly concerns the beautiful natural surroundings and the stream that flows down here. The last kilometer of asphalt was renewed in 2015. Epta Piges is on the signage along the main road from Rhodes town to Lindos, near Kolymbia.
